The Brief
The handyman that fixes all of your household problems! Tweezy Done Handyman is your one-stop man for all of your home repairs. Whether you're not a handyman yourself or you don't have the time to do the job, the Tweezy Done Handyman is here to help. Being a handyman, it was important to the owner that the branding didn't suggest a specialisation in an area such as plumbing (for example). So, the brand should imply a jack-of-all-trades type of handyman. Since the job is dealing with people's homes, it was vital that the branding evoked a sense of trust and reliability. Overall, the project includes a logo design and a business card design.
The Outcome
Logo design
As stated in the brief, it was fundamental to have a logo that didn't restrict the handyman into specific specialisations, rather preferring to present as a jack-of-all-trades. So, the logo only features fairly transferable tools in the font and logomark itself. The logomark's overall shape resembles a builder with a hard hat and a bowtie. This represents the handyman and isn't restrictive in any way. The wording is also unique due to particular tools replacing some letters. It was also imperative to project a sense of strength and reliability as the outcome should be a strong and reliable home. I've done this through a strong, bold logomark and a tall, bold wordmark to match.

Business card design
A critical choice for the business card design was the shape of the card itself. Ultimately, we chose a sharp, pointed card shape to ensure the brand remains professional yet strong in appearance. The colour palette emphasises this, combining Midnight Blue and White Smoke, projecting reliability, professionalism and trust.
